Back in July of 2014 I went to a Coney Island Moonlite Gardens dance on a night Blue Stone Ivory was playing. I was sipping a drink and enjoying the music when an attractive lady asked me to dance with her. We’ve been together ever since and are now engaged. We follow Blue Stone Ivory, our favorite local band, and attend their shows whenever we can. My fiance has been following BSI since she was in high school in 1976, going to dances at Moeller High. We love your sound and song selection. Special thanks to Rusty for the personal serenade while we were dancing to “When a Man Loves a Woman” at the St Patty’s Day dance. We had a wonderful time.

Here is to a GREAT band! On July 11, 2015, we were fortunate to have your band as our wedding band. What a blowout!! Our guests, who came from all over the country were simply amazed at your performance and the fun they had. You “made” our wedding a huge success and no words can ever show our thanks enough for all your efforts. ANYONE who wants to have “the best damn band in the land” perform at their function would be fortunate indeed to book you for their next event. Here is wishing all the gang many more years of happiness and success.

Just a note of Thanks.  We really enjoyed Blue Stone Ivory’s show at Jim and Jacks on the River this past weekend.  This is the first time we’ve got to see you and the group live (I’ve heard several recordings from your shows but never seemed to get the chance to come out and see you) and our party really had a good time.  Not only did the band sound great and played excellent songs, Blue Stone Ivory was very professional and entertaining! Having seen and heard many national groups live you impressed us – you guys are up there with the best!  No BS – Great sound!

I have been a Blue Stone Ivory Groupie for about 10 years. Whenever they are performing, I do my best to attend. This year, David and I have been away on many business trips and have missed many BSI performances. We were very pleased to be able to spend the evening goovin to our favorite BSI tunes at Jim & Jack’s last Saturday. But we noticed something different. Their sound was tweaked and they had learned some new tunes. We had an awesome time enjoying our favs and dancing to new beats.

Big Thanks to all the BSI musicians we’ve loved over the years and a hardy Welcome to the new members who are adding their talent to make what was good even better! Can’t wait to hear what you add next time.

Mike and Hilarie here wanting to take a second to say thank you~!  You guys did a great job at our wedding reception (June 7^th).  I don’t know if you were able to notice the dance floor was packed a couple of times~!  Our friends and family all commented you guys were awesome~!  Further, Dave got the volume just right; some were a little concerned the horns might blast some folks out ( I’m happy with a screaming horn section~!).  But the volume was just right.

We just wanted to thank you for the very enjoyable New Years Eve celebration.  We had a great time with great music, great food etc couldn’t ask for more than that to start your new year.  Again, thank you.  I’m glad we were able to take you up on your offer this year. Again thanks for the great evening.
