It was brought to my attention the bean soup dinner begins at 4pm today and goes till 6pm while supplies last. I hope they reserved enough for the Band to eat at 6pm after we setup and sound check? The Fastiques Rod and Custom Car Club will be your host for the 48th Pumpkin Run Nationals on Oct. 4th, 5th and 6th 2024. New for this year, we will have the U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots on the grounds accepting donations for this wonderful organization.![]()
Remember, the Pumpkin Run Nationals is a charity event and proceeds are donated to various charities.
A great BIG THANK YOU to the West Chester Twps. Fire Department and Police! Last Friday sitting at my dining room table, through the window I noticed bellowing smoke rolling across my back yard. Running out the back door I saw the huge flames burning from my back sheds. The flames were so hot, the wind was accelerating them that my little red fire extinguisher had no effect so I immediately called 911. Within 7-8 min the police and 3 firetrucks arrived. They were quick enough to save my house but the fire destroyed one shed (with a bunch of junk) and damaged the other beyond repair. 2 trees are damaged, half my yard seared and the vinyl siding on the back of my house is melted. No one was injured and now the process of insurance claims and cleanup begin. When you are out and about Thank all our First Responders, especially the West Chester Fire Fighters from stations 71, 72 & 74.
'We Are The Champions' 'An American In Paris' 'Chariots Of Fire' are a few of the musical treats performed by The West Chester Sympony Orchestra on Labor Day at Keehner Park st 6:30PM for our Salute to the Olympics FREE CONCERT. Ice cream social at the intermission. BlueStone Ivory's very own Gary Rossignol plays with the West Chester Symphony.![]()
