BlueStone Ivory is the perfect party/dance band for your local establishment, church festival, wedding, community concert, wedding reception, corporate event, fundraiser, or private party. BlueStone Ivory features five vocalists, and a three-piece horn section.  Based in Cincinnati, Ohio, BlueStone Ivory is one of the last remaining, truly “classic-style” rock-and-roll horn bands still in existence today. 

The horn-driven sounds of BlueStone Ivory rocked the Tri-state area from 1969 till 1976.  The band was resurrected for a 30 year High School reunion in 1999. Four decades and two Cammy Awards later almost everywhere BSI performs, someone relates that our band played their prom or they remember us playing at Alexander’s in Clifton in the 1970s. BlueStone Ivorys’ musical style and inspiration is derived from the great horn bands such as: Chicago, Tower of Power, Earth Wind & Fire; The Memphis Horns, Blood Sweat & Tears, The Blues Brothers and others.
