Played The Bluebird Cafe in Nashville several times. Traveled the road back in the late 70’s.
Played venues in every part of Cincinnati over the years.
I like to record other musicians around the city. There is a unbelieveable amount of talent in Cincinnati.
Love to play music and meet and play with new players and singers. I feel this opens up the mind and gets the creative jucies flowing. There is nothing better than to have great harmonies and a tightness all the way around in the music you are playing.
This is a new beginning for me playing in a horn band but very exciting and what I feel is a group of friends who like to have fun with the music and get serious at the same time. Seasoned players and singers. Lifting up and performing some of the toe tapping jump in singing songs that a lot of bands don’t play.
It is truly a privilege and a honnor to play with these guys. Blue Stone Ivory is a icon in this city.
Let me just say I feel blessed to be standing in the spot where Ted Donahue stood. He was a friend and a first class musician all the way.
I am also blessed to have such a wonderful wife and family that understands my passion for music.
Dreams as a musician:
To record in Abbey Road Studios and meet Paul McCartney to say thanks. My music life would be complete.
Don’t sweat the little stuff it will just drag you down. There is way more positives in life to lift you up! One of biggest is MUSIC!
